Its like an asthmatic without her pump, a smoker without a cigarette. My broadband connection has been down for 5 hours!!! What's a girl to do without the internet.
So, whilst I've been sitting here feeling like I've no lifeline, I've managed to complete one edgy side of the alphabet blanket, and don't you think it looks great. I'm really pleased with the outcome.
Little Ted is undergoing cosmetic surgery, so bear with me whilst he gets fixed up. I'm knitting up some clothes for him at the moment, so hopefully he'll be able to reveal his face shortly... so keep a watch out.
Exercise - there's been none.
Diet - Gained a pound.
IVF - Feel like a pin cushion.
Cigarettes - Don't smoke, maybe I ought to.

I know how you feel. I would also knit more if I didn't have Internet. I'm addicted.
The edge is looking beautiful. I don't know that I would have the patience to make a blanket like that. That's a lot of work, my friend!
Workout? What is that?
Smoking? Now, that's an idea. NOT!
I love your blog! It's one of my many daily fixes. I'm pretty new to blogging, but I'm getting the hang of it. As soon as I figure out how to put buttons in my sidebar, I'll add sweetpea knits. I just finished knitting Bobbilicious. Great pattern, my mom wants me to make her one now. Check out pictures of my finished "Bob" as it became known around my house at www.knit2blog1.blogspot.com

The afghan looks lovely!
Sorry to hear that you're feeling like a pincushion. I did the same last year. Ouch.
The edging looks fantastic! I'm rooting for you with the IVF. Fingers crossed and all. :)
During the hurricanes I was cut off of my internet connection and it made me crazy!! So I completely understand ;-)
Your blanket is coming out divine - just lovely - can't wait to see the finished product.
As for the IVF...hang in there... :-(
Ouch, I can understand how you feel about the connection. Love the afghan pattern.
Great job on the alphabet blanket--one I've always wanted to knit. by the way, the edging for that blanket might work well for the edging on a baby blanket I've been working on. Thanks for showing it!!
I had terrible problems with Tiscali throughout the autumn and would crawl the walls everytime the connection went down. It's like having your leg cut off, isn't it? How did we ever manage without the Internet and mobile phones? ~Sharon
